What is Daycare and Activity Center?
We have learned that one size does not fit all when it comes to dog daycare. Dogs can get overly tired and overly stimulated by playing all day without adequate rest. Dogs can also become bored from the same routine.

Our format ensures your dog gets plenty of rest as well as excellent quality of play.

We do small group play sessions and activities and more one-on one attention with the staff so that every day is a unique and fun day tailored specifically for your pet!

Will my dog go home tired from the Activity Center, sometimes like traditional Daycare?
Your dog will go home tired, but not so exhausted to where they can’t eat dinner or interact with the family. We are striving for quality play sessions, balanced with adequate rest, so your dog doesn’t experience injuries from over exercising.

What kind of activities will my dog participate in at the Activity Center?
That really depends on what your dog likes! We will conduct a thorough Assessment to find out what your precious pup really loves and then we’ll rotate those activities into your dog’s daily stay here. We have a wide range of activities including fetch, tricks, nose work, agility, tug time, nature hikes, puzzles, stuffed KONG time, and much more!

Will my Dog have to stay in a crate or dog run?
When it’s time to relax, your Dog will be provided with their own private 4’x6′ kennel to rest with bedding, water, and a treat stuffed activity toy. Once they are done with their delicious treat, your Dog will take a much-needed break before their next activity. We think this down time is vital to healthy dogs and will help your dog get used to learning how to relax during the day.

Why does everything need to be scheduled by appointment?
One reason is for security. Our building sits on 7 private acres fully fenced in with locked entrance gates for the safety and security of our pets staying with us and living on property.

In addition, appointments help minimize interruption, as we take pride that all of our staff participates in the care of the pets we have on site, and dedicates quality time with each one.

What type of training does your Staff have?
We are excited to be part of a membership group that is focused on raising the bar of safety and education for the pet care industry.

The Dog Gurus (] is the #1 staff training and business consulting group for the pet care industry.

We are also proud members of the International Boarding and Pet Service Association. (IBPSA) which offer training, education, resources and support for the pet service industry.
